TG CM Revanth departs for Davos

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and his official team departed for Davos, Switzerland, on Monday to take part in the annual meetings of the World Economic Forum (WEF). Prior to his trip, the Chief Minister performed prayers at the revered shrine of the tribal warrior goddesses Sammakka and Saralamma in Medaram and kicked off the well-known Maha Jatara (grand festival). After completing the rituals in Medaram, Revanth Reddy headed back to Hyderabad and took a flight from Shamshabad International Airport at 9:30 am. The CMO officials and senior officials from the Industries department were part of the Chief Minister's official delegation. During the four-day conference, starting January 20, Revanth Reddy will hold extensive meetings with CEOs of global companies, investors, and representatives from various sectors. At the Telangana Pavilion in Davos, the Chief Minister will hold separate meetings with the heads of leading companies such as Google, Salesforce, Unilever, Honeywell, L'Oréal, Novartis, Tata Group, DP World, Infosys, and Cisco. Revanth Reddy will also participate in round table meetings with international representatives. During the deliberations, he will focus more on inviting investors, expansion of the already established Industries and attract huge investments in IT, AI, life sciences, and manufacturing sectors. The Chief Minister already instructed officials to showcase Telangana's Rising 2047 Vision Document and the state's investment potential for development in various sectors to the world at the Forum. IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Special Chief Secretaries Jayesh Ranjan, Sanjay Kumar and CM Special Secretary Ajit Reddy are part of the official delegation.
